Gyproc Elite 100, from Saint-Gobain, uses retarded hemihydrate gypsum with perlite aggregates for lightweight (770kg/m³ dry density), fire-resistant (BS 476 Part 4), and thermally insulated (0.25 W/m-K) application. Mix 1:1.25 water:powder ratio; sets in 20-25 minutes without shrinkage cracks. GRIHA/GreenPro certified; supports tiles up to 20kg/m² directly. Ideal for Indian construction—faster than cement (2x speed), no curing saves 20L water/sqm.
